Moraine Lake

From Lake Louise we went to Moraine Lake.  Although Lake Louise is probably more famous, I much preferred Moraine Lake.  One of the scenes is called the Ten Peaks and was on the old twenty dollar bill.

I didn't really want to go canoeing on Lake Louise because it looked so contained and small.  Moraine Lake however offered many more interesting views and I was eager to jump into the canoe.

After the canoe trip we went to the souvenir shop and got some things.  The girl at the cash I recall was from Toronto and asked us if we went up the rock pile.  We didn't know about it, but she said it would be worth the small climb - and it was.

Here are some pictures.
