No Banff Springs and another gondola

The next day we headed out to Jasper.  The first stop however was the Lake Louise Gondola.  These are some pictures I took on the way to the gondola.

One note about our last night in Banff.  I was eager to go to the Banff Springs hotel and jump in their hot springs.  The (mis)guide(d) book said that you can go in there no problem.  We paid a crazy amount for parking at the Banff Springs and wandered the halls that could have been a converted dungeon.  We finally found the front desk and asked them about where the hot springs were.  They told us that they didn't have any and that the hot springs were actually in a different place.

We went to that other place, and it was ok, but I was disappointed that there were no hot springs in the Banff Springs Hotel!
