The parking lot was overflowing with cars and the road leading to the parking lot was flanked on both sides with parked cars. However, we managed to find a spot in the parking lot near the front. That was a theme when it came to parking. Even if there were cars lined up outside of the parking lot, there was a good chance you would find a spot in the parking lot.
I went to the booth to buy the tickets, but when I learned of the price I was ready to walk away. But Silvina convinced me to go ahead, so that's what we did. I had been on gondola rides before that were less than impressive, which was why I was reluctant to fork out so much money for this one. However, the view from the top was spectacular. There was an extensive board walk that led to a Cosmic Ray station. We had to practically drag Nina along because she was probably tired from the morning hike, but we made it to the top. I'm not sure how satisfied she was, but we sure were. I would highly recommend the trip to the top of Sulphur mountain.
By the way, if you click on one of the pictures, they will get bigger and you will be able to cycle through them easier.
